at least you can use your experiences with these lovely human beings as "material". :) If they only knew! ha!

I often rehearse in my head an explanation about the wall leaning policy. Like what Jason said about muscle memory.

And now it is all for naught.

hahaha, you actually DO that?
I thought it was just one of those things like "watching the art" that we're all "supposed to do."

Those were the days man. Just appreciate the fact that you can share these "wonderful experiences" with colleagues and friends. Thank goodness he did not see attendant...well, no names. lol

HAHAHAHA! Story of my life, I once had to tell an old hag (on an early morning tour) not to lean on the wall and she yelled at me! She literally shouted (in the middle of the docent's lecture in gallery 1) "why don't you tell me what I CAN do then, huh?!?" Then she bad mouthed me to the rest of her old bengay smelling friends. God i love work

Just checking up on some of your old stuff...

I actually got a very stern comment (yell?) from someone when I leaned against the wall there once. She seemed very passionate about it and treated me as if I was a repeat offender of some horrifying crime. I just apologized. Maybe more benches would help the policy go down easier.

Ya, I"m not surprised....there are definitely some there who could use a bit more tact when responding to patrons. I'm sorry you experienced that.
